Sweaters and family
I love my boys.
I love wrapping up in warm sweaters...and layering. It's so cozy.
I love the colors of fall.
I love shoes, and colorful ones at that!

Animal Encounters
We took Miles to the Zoo in Idaho Falls over the weekend. He was so cute talking to all the animals. He has really taken a liking to animals in the past couple weeks.
The zoo hasn't been that much fun since I was a kid.

Easter Best
We're thinking of getting Mr. Miles a newspaper route.
Who wouldn't want him to deliver their paper?

Photo Essay Update
You know it's time to update when your father, who isn't much for computers, is telling you that it's been too long since you last posted, and he needs to see new pictures of his Grandson.
This is just for you dad. . . a taste of what Miles has been up to.
Miles is now wearing a tie to church just like dad.
Okay disclaimer. . . A sweet lady in our ward, who I adore, gave us this,
therefore for her pleasure Miles wore this shirt to church.
Hopefully he'll put it to good use and one day make millions.
Miles loves carrots and sweet potatoes. Squash. . . not so much.
This boy is a water baby.
He loves his bath, and soaking his feet after a long day.
He splashes and splashes those little pigs!
Miles really is a happy and smiley boy. That smile of his melts my heart.
This boy is so funny. He is learning manners and crossing his legs when sitting.
It was my birthday and Miles half birthday a few weeks ago. This is cause for celebration and balloons. Miles was smitten by the balloons!
(Check out that metal mouth. Good news is you can no longer call me that! Where there once was metal you will find beautiful straight teeth. Photo on that one soon.)
Miles is sitting up so well now. He is getting up on one leg and desperately wanting to get around as much as possible. We may have a crawler on our hands soon. Oh boy we'd better prepare the house, not to mention ourselves.

What would you do for 5 bucks?
July 24th Festivies this year included a BBQ at the Young's and then it was off to the Bee's Baseball Game and firework show afterwards.

While at the BBQ my Aunt Amy brought the hit of the night . . . yummy homemade salsa from good old Harmons! Even though the label said mild, I could only handle one chip, as it was spicy enough to throw me into labor. Everyone was digging the salsa, and the entire bowl was devoured in about 20 minutes. As Amy stood there staring at the remaining 1/4" of juicy remnants, wishing for more, someone said . . ."I dare you to drink that." Amy chuckled . . . and she said it. Without hesitation Aunt Mauna said, "I'll give you $5." That's all it took. Amy tried to get bidding higher, but settled with the $5. Then she was off in a hurry . . . I had to stall her long enough to even get my camera.

After only 30 seconds, Amy had finished it off. Her eyes began to water and her face turned red, but she did it! You go Amy! Good thing Aunt Mauna had the cash on hand to pay up. I think Amy may need that for a bottle of Pepto Bismol.

Mark and I had a good time at the game, and we always enjoy the fireworks! It was extremely hot, so I had to literally peel myself out of the chair a few times and walk around. The guy at the concession stand even took pity on me and didn't charge me for a glass of ice water. Funny what a protruding belly will do for you.
