This year’s trip to Hawaii was amazing. We were able to bring some family with us this year and show them all the things we love so much about the island. We were also able to fit in some new adventures, which were spectacular. You've asked for pictures so prepare yourself . . . this may be the longest post ever!!!
How's this for a tree trunk. . . pretty amazing huh. I love the colors!
Guavas for your picking.
A day of snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. Along with many other snorkeling adventures.
Throwing baited crab nets in hopes of dinner.
Looks like we will eat after all. Nice job boys!
On to spear fishing to see what they can catch.
Bydoo-In Temple - a replica of a 900-year-old Buddhist temple in Kyoto,Japan.
Holy Buddha inside. Seriously. . . it’s 18’ high.
Black swans swimming amongst 1000’s of carp. I have never seen a black swan.
A mother peacock and her little ones.
Feeding the birds right from our hands. Can you say “Disney” moment?
Turtles everywhere. We saw tons of them this year!
Body boarding at Pounder’s beach. . . ask Mike why they call it Pounders!
A visit to the Laie' temple.
A hike up to Makapu’u lighthouse.
Maybe one too many times to the PCC (aka Polynesian Cultural Center) for Mark and I.
That wraps up our trip. Are you worn out now?
