Saturday was Free Family Day at This Is The Place Heritage Park. This is where the Pioneers first came into the Salt Lake valley. There is an entire little village of old homes, shops, and town buildings that were first built in the valley. Each building has a volunteer inside all dressed up in pioneer clothing demonstrating many of the pioneer’s ways of living.
Mark and I have wanted to the park for a while now, and what a better day to go. It was free admission, free pizza, free ice cream, and free drinks. There were tons of games, entertainment, and activities for everyone. Thanks Becky for the heads up on it being Family Day!
